The Eiffel Tower is one of the many places that you have to check out this month and you don't even need a passport! Kimmel Center has a 81 foot replica of Paris' Eiffel Tower in their lobby acting as the centerpiece for their PIFA headquarters. PIFA was inspired by the Kimmel Center so there are countless events and performances that will be taking place in the Plaza of the Kimmel Center, including free concerts! Many other local arts and cultural organizations and venues are also showcasing their best talents and premier collaborations for the first ever Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts. The events run until May 1st so you should map out your favorite spots in the city and indulge in art, French fare and fine wine, at more various venues around the Philadlephia. |
