Paris ‘til Sunday, Jazz ‘til Sunrise at the African American Museum in Philadelphia
This weekend as part of the final days of PIFA and also to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) Wells Fargo presents, Paris ‘til Sunday, a full line up of jazz performances. Keeping with the collaborating theme of PIFA they will blend the legendary and emerging jazz artists with styles of early Parisian jazz and modern New Orleans traditions. Outdoors performances, headline acts, strolling musicians, and performances will be a part of this collaborations. There is so much on the line up that you will certainly get a chance to enjoy jazz at some point this weekend. It all begins tomorrow at one in the afternoon.
AAMP will also be brining back their signature event, Jazz ‘til Sunrise, beginning 10:30 pm Saturday night and concluding until 5:00 am Sunday morning, on two stages with continuous jazz being played. Please note that Broad Street will be closed off Friday April 28- Sunday May 1st so plan accordingly to get to and from the African American Museum in Philadelphia on time for the performances.
