Breathe Deep Philadelphia - LUNGevity Walk 9/28
Put on your walking shoes on Saturday morning and head over to the The Piazza at Schmidts in Philadelphia for the Breathe Deep Philadelphia LUNGevity walk. I'll be there! In fact, I'm the Healthy Snack Sponsor for the event.
Walk a mile to help raise funds and awareness of the lung cancer epidemic. Check-in and registration begins at 8:30 am followed by an inspiring opening program at 10:00 am. The 3K walk will kick-off at 10:30 and then join all participators and sponsors for a closing ceremony at 12:30pm.
Is there someone important in your life who is either a survive or victim of lung cancer you can honor them by submitting a photo of them along with a $1 donation and a photo will be projected to the large screen at the Piazza during a whimsical Bubble Ceremony. The bubbles are to remind us of all of those who are affected by lung cancer.
