Philadelphia Flower Show 2013: Brillant!

The Philadelphia Flower Show kicks off this Friday, March 1st at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and continues until Sunday, March 10th. Did you know that it is a lasting tradition now in its 184th year? Each year there are unique exhibits and a common theme. This year the theme is inspired by Great Brittan! Observe extravagant displays with a modern twist on traditional British icons such as the Royal palace, Union Jack, foggy London and more. There will even be a digitally enhanced interpretation of Big Ben, featuring a light and sound show every half-hour!

Visitors from all over the world come to The Philadelphia Flower Show.  Don’t miss this fascinating show! Reserve your tickets today. Tickets are reasonably priced; Adults $27, Students $20, Children $15.

I can’t wait to see what the Pennsylvania Horticultural Center produces this year because each year it keeps getting better. Last year the theme for the Flower Show was Hawaii and I had the pleasure of enjoying the Flower Show with tickets that I won from City Paper. Taking photos is my favorite thing to do while I’m at the flower show. This year I’ll be volunteering at the show’s media tent on the last day of the show, Sunday March 10th afternoon. Stop to say hi!
