Beautiful Boston: Outside Art

Boston is a beautiful city and now it's more artful than ever with an outside sculptor gallery!  The city just launched Convergence, the Boston Sculptors Gallery’s first outdoor art exhibit, that includes over two dozen of unique structures throughout the city. I happened to be in Boston during its opening weekend and was able to admire some of the small and large scale pieces. I’m used to seeing art outside in Philadelphia so this was an exciting and refreshing exhibit for me to check out in Boston.

According to Boston Magazine the art is inspired by the “convergence” of imagination and civic pride. You can read more about it in their article here. The exhibit will be on display until October giving you plenty of time to visit Beantown and see it for yourself. I hope they end up keeping some pieces as permanent instillation adding more character to the city!
